Description: Tourists headed for the Colosseum today as many of of Romes most visited museums and monuments are staying shut as ticket-booth workers and security guards stage a one-day strike amid fears of job cuts in an ever worsening economic climate. Only attractions managed directly by the Italian government, such as the Colosseum, staying open.
